• This muzzle brake is manufactured by R. Crouse and designed for use on sporting rifles to reduce felt recoil by the shooter
• This brake requires installation by a gunsmith
• Brake dimensions are .700″ outer diameter and 2.725″ long
• Threaded 9/16″ X 24 TPI
• This brake does not require timing
• This brake comes with an exit hole for a .22 caliber. The exit hole can be opened up for calibers up to .308.
• Using this brake for calibers larger than .308 would require reaming the entire length of the brake. It is the responsibility of the gunsmith to ensure the brake is reamed to the correct diameter and that there is sufficient wall thickness after reaming.
• The exterior of this brake can be turned down to match the outer diameter of the host barrel. The rear of this brake can be tapered to match the outer diameter of the host barrel.
• Brake is made from 416 stainless steel
• Brake threads are checked with a 9/16″ X 24 TPI UNEF Class 3A Go/No Go Plug Gauge to guarantee thread accuracy
